Leila Guillen

Leila is responsible for all aspects of our accounting of Criss Cross, enabling us to manage and grow our full- service real estate investment, development and financing services. She is also responsible for lender relationships as well as risk management. Leila spent the first 10 years of her career in public accounting, auditing financial statements of public and private companies. She held a series of roles with increasing responsibility at BDO, the 5th largest global accounting network, culminating in a Senior Audit Manager position. Leila also worked for McNair Interests as an accounting manager, overseeing a team of four, responsible for a diverse portfolio of real estate entities, which were primarily in the development stage of real estate projects. Leila has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting & Finance (2010) and a MBA (2012), both from the University of Houston – Clear Lake, and earned her Certified Public Accountant designation in 2013. Leila lives in Pasadena with her husband and their preschooler. In her free time, she works with the HAY Center Foundation, which provides services to foster youth, as a mentor and the Treasurer.
